Choose from our standard models or order according to your needs by using our bespoke made to measure garden log cabins service. • Bertsch Holzbau garden log cabin kits have a high stability rating and an excellent wind-tightness through special chalet-milling at all the corner joints. • The Ease of assembly and high degree of stability are regularly commented upon by our professional erection team. Customers phone us to comment on how easy it was for them to erect their log cabins over one week-end. • The strength is shown in the Purlins which measure 80 x 160 mm starting at a minimum wall-thickness of 33 mm and up, that’s three time thicker than some other makes. • Fascia boards are made from 19 cm, which protect the purlin-heads at the gabled ends. These can be either plain or fancy – the choice is yours. • Pressure treated wooden beams - onto which the cabin sits and the floor boards are fixed is 60 x 80 mm at a minimum wall-thickness of 33 mm. • The floor boards are made from 19 mm tongue- and groove-boards for floor and roof-frame • A Baseboard is also included. • Both Single- (88 x 186 cm) and Double- (150 x 186 cm) doors are made with glued wood which is (paneled on both sides) • The doors can be adjusted without using a hammer and chisel, as they have adjustable door-hinges, you just lift the door off and either screw the hinge in or out to adjust it. • All Bertsch Holzbau log cabin doors and windows come fitted with real glass – not acrylic – and are fitted with weather strip to keep out the wind and rain. The windows and doors come complete with strong high quality aluminium handles and detachable Georgian bars. • Both Single-windows (88 x 88 cm) and double-windows (140 x 88 cm) come complete with tilt and turn mechanism as standard or if required traditional opening windows. • All our Bertsch Holzbau log cabin kits are quoted with high quality bitumen-shingles in a choice of five colors – Red – Green – Black – Blue – Brown. The following items are fitted as standard to all wall-thicknesses of 45 mm and up.• All logs sizes of 45mm and up have special profiles with conical double-grooves for a higher stability, instead of the single groves found in the smaller log sizes. • The floor-boards are 22 mm thick giving extra strength and load bearing capacity, the floor-frame is 60 x 80 mm and purlins at least 80 x 160 mm. • These log cabin windows are not just pinned together they are made of glued wood (68 mm thick) double glazed with weather strips to keep out the wind and rain. • The windows are fitted with branded German tilt and turn mechanisms and have a double rabbet. • Double-doors (160 x 186cm) are made of glued wood, double glazed with weather strips (paneled on both sides) Below are possible bespoke options you might consider to add to your garden log cabin experience:
